Plant Superintendent

Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000

Location: Houston, BC

As Plant Superintendent at Drax, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and safety of the plant, leading a team, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This critical leadership role will drive performance improvements and operational excellence, contributing to the business's overall success.

Your Day-to-Day as a Plant Superintendent:
  • Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring optimal efficiency and safety.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Track performance metrics and implement best practices for continuous improvement.
  • Manage budgets and optimize resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Drive sustainability efforts, supporting Drax's low-carbon mission.
  • Prepare and present reports on plant performance to senior management.
  • Maintain a strong focus on sustainability and contribute to DRAX's mission of delivering low-carbon energy solutions.
