Role Overview

The Plant Manager has overall responsibility for the performance of a manufacturing facility, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations while meeting production, quality, and delivery objectives. This role leads plant operations and translates business priorities into short-term operational strategies, plans, and performance expectations. The position is accountable for optimizing resources, strengthening production capabilities, and influencing cross-functional decisions that impact plant performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead overall plant operations to achieve safety, quality, production, delivery, and cost objectives while ensuring effective execution of operational priorities.
  • Direct production planning and control activities, aligning production schedules with material availability and operational requirements to maintain a controlled flow of production.
  • Plan and optimize the workforce, equipment, tools, and other resources required to meet production schedules and performance standards.
  • Evaluate plant processes, systems, technologies, and equipment and implement improvements that enhance manufacturing capability, efficiency, and operational performance.
  • Establish and execute plant-level policies and strategies, address complex operational challenges, and collaborate across functions to drive business and manufacturing objectives.
