POSITION SUMMARY
Directs and coordinates all plant activities including, but not limited, to production planning, raw material receiving, labor coordination and allocation, employee relations, variance identification and resolution, personnel development, employee training, problem solving, maintenance coordination, cost savings, product quality, and safety. Establishes policies and procedures for all areas mentioned and directs daily operation to achieve company goals. Develops Capital Plan to maintain the site infrastructure or support Sales plans. Maintains positive relationships with other departments.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluates performance of the location and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of the location
Assists in implementation of new technology or procedures
Manages the accurate reporting of inventory transactions to ensure accurate accounting of finished product and raw materials
Champion the continuous improvement of the production facility and related functions including technical processes, methodologies, practices, and personnel development.
Responsible for maintaining facility in an "Inspection Ready" stage at all times, and the point of contact for Regulatory Agencies.

WORK ENVIROMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The work environment for this role can either be in an office setting at the facility, or on the production floor. Production roles are performed in a food manufacturing environment and require strict adherence to food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards, including use of required PPE. Employees may work in areas with variable temperatures, machinery noise, and exposure to food ingredients and sanitation chemicals. The role requires standing or walking for extended periods, performing repetitive tasks, and regularly lifting up to 25-35 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance).
