Qualifications

• 5-7 years of management experience in a power plant environment.
• In-depth knowledge of combined cycle operations, particularly with Siemens and Alstom equipment.
• Strong understanding of environmental and regulatory compliance, particularly NERC standards.
• Proficiency in budget creation, contract evaluation, and understanding of plant economics.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals, coupled with problem-solving skills.
• Proven communication and leadership skills for managing a team of up to 25 staff members.
• Four-year degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operation of the facility by maintaining a risk-minimized work environment.
• Manage environmental compliance and oversee reporting and testing initiatives.
• Supervise NERC compliance and other regulatory reporting responsibilities.
• Enhance productivity and morale through effective management programs and team support.
• Optimize plant performance via resource allocation and team management.
• Prepare annual budgets and detailed monthly operational reports for the facility.
• Actively engage with the facility owner to align expectations and communication of plant operations.
