Position Summary
The Plant Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of a high-performing manufacturing operation generating approximately $180M in annual revenue with a workforce of approximately 150 employees.
This position provides overall leadership for Safety, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Continuous Improvement, and Talent Development while driving operational excellence, profitable growth, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
The Plant Manager serves as a key member of the leadership team and is accountable for achieving business objectives through the development of people, execution of strategy, and continuous improvement of operational performance.

Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
• Lead all day-to-day manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety requirements.
• Drive operational excellence through Lean Manufacturing, Parker Win Strategy, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Establish performance metrics and accountability systems to achieve business objectives.
Financial Performance
• Drive improvements in productivity, profitability, inventory turns, working capital, and overall operational efficiency.
• Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities while maintaining quality and customer service standards.
• Support capital planning and investment decisions to support future growth.
Leadership & Talent Development
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of functional leaders and managers.
• Build organizational capability through succession planning and talent development.
• Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, teamwork, and continuous learning.
• Ensure strong employee communication and alignment with business objectives.
Customer & Business Partnership
• Partner with internal customers to ensure outstanding service and responsiveness.
• Support strategic growth initiatives through capacity planning, operational readiness, and execution excellence.
• Collaborate with division leadership to align plant priorities with overall business strategy.
• Participate in customer visits, operational reviews, and strategic planning activities as required.
Continuous Improvement
• Champion Lean principles and continuous improvement across all functional areas.
• Lead initiatives focused on improving safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity performance.
• Utilize data-driven decision-making to identify opportunities and sustain improvements.
• Promote a culture focused on problem-solving and operational discipline.
Qualifications
Qualifications - Required
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
• 5+ years leading managers and cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing a complex manufacturing operation.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and operational excellence systems.
• Proven track record of improving operational performance and developing leadership talent.
Qualifications - Preferred
• Experience leading operations exceeding $100M in annual revenue.
• MBA or Master's Degree.
• Experience within highly engineered, industrial, or manufacturing environments.
• Experience supporting growth, expansion, or operational transformation initiatives.
