ABOUT THE ROLE

The Plant Manager directs all plant operations and is responsible for safety, quality, employee engagement, production efficiency, OEE, and customer satisfaction.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
  • Leads, influences, and motivates all stakeholders, creating a culture of accountability, respect for people, and striving for excellence in quality, safety, and operational performance. Excellent leadership and communication skills are critical to this role.
  • Direct and manage plant operations for Safety, Quality, Customer Satisfaction, Total cost per unit, and Continuous Improvement.
  • Coordinate plant activities through targeted performance metrics developed in collaboration with departmental managers to ensure KPI objectives are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Develop and execute a capital planning strategy and project delivery with stated return on investment at project approval.
  • Establish and sustain a culture of structured problem solving, root cause analysis with irreversible corrective actions.
  • Ensures effective systems, capabilities, and training to accomplish key business objectives.
  • Implements and maintains predictive/preventative maintenance and QMS programs.
  • Incorporates and sustains a strong culture of 5S, standard work, and floor visual management.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Education: Bachelor's degree

Field of Study Preferred: Engineering

Required Work Experience: Ten+ years progressive experience in a manufacturing environment with at least four to five years management/leadership experience with proven progression of responsibilities is required.

Travel Requirements: NA

Additional Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of systematic tools, including, but not limited to, Standard Work, Six Sigma, Reliability Centered Maintenance, 5S, ISO 9001, Kaizen, and 8D.
  • Ability to review, analyze, and interpret P&L reports and technical specifications.
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize-approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators. Employees who are required to wear respirators must be clean-shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
