Full Job Description
Your tasks
  • Directs and coordinates activities of industrial organization to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximize profits by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
  • Coordinates activities of divisions or departments such as operating, manufacturing, engineering, planning, sales, maintenance, or research and development, to effect operational efficiency and economy.
  • Reviews production costs and product quality, and modifies production and inventory control programs to maintain and enhance profitable operation of division. •
  • Reviews operations of competing organizations and plans and directs sales program to develop new markets and develops plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees.
  • Directs preparation of accounting records, recommends budgets to management, and plans, develops and implements organization policies and goals.
  • Analyzes division or department budget requests to identify areas in which reductions can be made, and allocates operating budget.
  • Directs preparation of directives to division or department administrator outlining policy, program, or operations changes to be implemented.
  • Coordination of economic production in due time and in good quality.
  • Representation of the plant within the Brose Group and outside.
  • Development of the annual budget and resource planning and controlling the observance of the plan.
  • Participation in the middle- and long-term business planning of the Brose Group.
  • Develop regulations for and ensure compliance with Health and Safety and Environmental procedures and be pro-active in the development of a safe working environment and follow the requirements of Brose •
  • The "COM_EHS Health and Environmental Protection Team" (Abbreviation: ARGUS) has the task of advising on environmental protection issues and preparing decisions that are of general operational interest. The composition of members and the tasks are regulated by the local charter. The ARGUS meetings take place at least four times a year (quarterly). - See EHS Organigram and or BMS for further details.

Your Profile
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least two years in a quality or production engineering role, plus 3 years leading a team
  • Project management and implementation of new products • Knowledge of modern manufacturing techniques gained within the automotive industry • Comprehensive knowledge of production planning and control • Evidence of leadership and team building skills • Good communication / inter-personal skills
