Job Responsibilities:

  • Performs filling operations according to operations plan : ensures filling start up and stop in a safe manner, follows the procedure and oversees parameters: connection and disconnection of the cylinders, the manipulation of all the valves needed to fill the cylinders or bundles with the right content, but also side tasks like analysis, batch numbering, stickers sticking, forms filling for traceability
  • Controls parameters, performs tests and checks physical data for optimized production in quality and quantity and ensures corrective operations while parameters are not optimized
  • Reacts as first responder in emergency situation and initiates safety procedures & keeps the management informed for any safety and/or activity issue
  • Performs primary & secondary cylinder handling operations by performing operations according to plan for the empty cylinders, the unloading of the trucks, the selection (sorting) of the cylinders, the control of the test date and the overall aspect of the cylinder, and the positioning in the empty buffer zone waiting for filling. For the full cylinders, it includes the picking of the cylinders according to the customer’s orders, taking the cylinders from the full buffer zone or from the full stock, and the loading the trucks. All forklift activity linked to secondary distribution is included.
  • Ensures operations compliance to safety procedure, in particular for lock-out and confined spaces. Respects the use of protective equipment. Ensures that quality procedures for process and for final product analysis are respected in the day-to-day and takes care of fulfilment of analytic plans.
  • Fills the operations book and administrative documentation, enters all the daily production data in the system, ensures the tracking of production events, fills out and communicates incident reports and performs studying work of Standard Operating Procedures, P&ID's, PFD's, and all other technical documentation as related to plant specific equipment
  • Participates to the process improvement by detecting process and procedure improvement from incident analysis, detecting risk in situation and propose improvement and proposing changes regarding Safety or productivity
