Full Job Description
Your mission, roles and responsibilities

The Maintenance Management oversees the duties of maintenance and stock room personnel. The main missions of the role are:

  • Assign work orders to maintenance personnel and prioritizing and leveling the workload.
  • Maintain the employees' time, attendance, and vacation schedules.
  • Assist engineering with locating and maintaining repair parts for the equipment.
  • Direct and coordinate both repair and preventive maintenance for all manufacturing equipment.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts: propose and implement continuous productivity, efficiency, and quality improvement actions for all equipment.
  • Support and manage the work order database to keep it current.
  • Ensure development of maintenance personnel in all types of skills (hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, etc.)
  • Support and enforce all Health, Safety, and environmental rules.
  • Ensure safety equipment is maintained and up to current standards.
  • Ensure the continuous development and coaching of maintenance technicians.
  • Submit/implement at least two improvement ideas per month.
  • Commit to the highest ethical standards and adhere to Faurecia's Code of Ethics and Code of Management.
  • Assist other departments to secure the quality of the product.
  • Responsible for Health, Safety and Environmental.
  • Other tasks assigned according to the position and company need

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have/be: possess good communication and leadership skills, above average people and organizational skills, and be willing to work required overtime.

Minimum education level: Associate degree in industrial electronics, with a specialization in mechanics and automation

Experience

At least 5 years of maintenance experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of Quality systems and Health, Safety & Environment skills

Physical Requirements
  • Exposed to heat in the summer and cold in the winter.
  • Job involves lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, gloves, ear protection, and safety anti-cut sleeves required in production area due to physical hazards from moving equipment, machine parts, and product.
