Job Summary

Oversee all financial operations for the Mena Plant, including plant budget, payroll, cost accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls and compliance. Partner with operational and commercial leaders to provide financial insights and drive cost-effective decision making for the Mena plant.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare and review internal financial statements and reporting packages
•Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working with cross-functional teams

• Develop plant budgets; monitor and track all plant expenses to ensure budget achievement
• Partner with manufacturing and supply chain teams to drive cost control and productivity initiatives
• Ensure financial controls and compliance with corporate accounting policies and external regulations
• Conduct financial analysis and develop recommendations to support business decisions
• Lead and develop the finance team, fostering performance and continuous improvement
• Support audits, tax reporting, and treasury activities as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, including manufacturing environment exposure
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, standard costing, variance analysis
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
  • Solid understanding of GAAP (or applicable accounting standards)
  • Experience managing month-end close, financial reporting, and reconciliations
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret financial data and operational metrics
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with operations and plant leadership
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to influence decision-making through financial insights and business partnership

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA, CMA, or MBA
  • 8+ years of experience in finance/accounting with significant manufacturing leadership exposure
  • Experience as an ETO Plant Controller or finance lead in a production facility
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Standard costing systems and cost roll processes
    • Inventory control, cycle counting, and physical inventory management
    • Capital expenditure analysis (CapEx) and project ROI evaluation
  • Experience supporting or leading:
    • Budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
    • Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives
  • Familiarity with internal controls and SOX compliance (if applicable)
  • Vendor relations experience
  • Experience working in multi-site or global manufacturing organizations
  • Advanced data tools experience (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or data analytics platforms)
  • Strong leadership experience, including developing and mentoring finance staff
