Full Job Description
The Role

We're looking for a Director of Planning & Purchasingto deliver the planning and supply execution required to support next-generation AI computing solutions. You'll own demand planning, supply planning, purchasing, inventory, and logistics, ensuring materials and production schedules are aligned to support successful product launches and high-volume manufacturing.

Working closely with Engineering, Global Supply Management, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, and contract manufacturing partners, you'll establish scalable planning processes, optimize ERP execution, and drive operational excellence across the end-to-end supply chain while balancing customer commitments, inventory, cost, and manufacturing performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver demand and supply plans: Develop and execute demand, supply, and production plans that align customer demand, material availability, and manufacturing schedules to support successful product launches and high-volume manufacturing.
  • Deliver material execution: Lead purchasing activities to ensure timely material availability while balancing cost, inventory, and supplier performance.
  • Lead supply execution: Partner with Global Supply Management, Manufacturing, and contract manufacturing partners to execute production plans, resolve material constraints, and meet customer delivery commitments.
  • Deliver planning excellence: Establish scalable planning processes, ERP workflows, and planning parameters that improve visibility, execution, and operational performance.
  • Optimize inventory and logistics: Develop inventory and logistics strategies that ensure on-time delivery while balancing inventory investment, transportation costs, and operational efficiency.
Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 12+ years of leadership experience in Planning, Purchasing, or Supply Chain within electronics or advanced manufacturing, including at least five years leading teams.
  • Subject matter expertise in demand planning, supply planning, purchasing, inventory management, logistics, ERP/MRP systems, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
  • Experience implementing end-to-end ERP/MRP planning solutions from the ground up, including business process design, master data, planning parameters, material planning, and reporting to support scalable manufacturing operations.
  • Proven success developing planning processes and managing material execution that enable successful product launches and high-volume manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional supply chain execution across Engineering, Global Supply Management, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, and contract manufacturing partners.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence executive stakeholders and build high-performing teams.
Nice to Have
  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Experience applying Lean Six Sigma principles to supply chain planning and operational excellence.
  • APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM), or equivalent supply chain certification.
