Are you an experienced Project Manager with a passion for leading complex capital improvement projects from concept through completion? We are seeking Planning & Development Project Managers to support major Maintenance & Operations initiatives across the District. *Salary Range: $155K/Year-$170K/Year - Dependent on Candidate's Qualifications Key Responsibilities: • Lead projects from early planning and pre-construction through bid/award, construction, and close-out • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, utility providers, and public agencies • Monitor project budgets, schedules, and overall progress • Prepare executive-level reports and project updates • Resolve project challenges, disputes, and complex planning issues • Ensure projects remain aligned with approved scope, budget, and objectives • Support contract development, procurement, and bid planning activities • Evaluate and implement process improvements and best practices • Assist with cost estimating and project development strategies • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Requirements Required Experience • Minimum 10 years of full-time professional project management experience • Experience managing public-sector, educational, or commercial construction projects • Proven ability to oversee projects from planning and design through close-out • Experience managing multiple projects concurrently Preferred Experience • Educational modernization or K-12 facilities projects • Public agency capital improvement programs • Large-scale construction and facilities programs Education • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field OR • Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential OR • Additional qualifying experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
