DescriptionRole Overview The Walmart Planning team at Delta Galil is responsible for driving financial, inventory, and demand planning execution for Walmart retail and eCommerce businesses. Planning partners closely with Walmart buyers and planners, internal Sales, Planning Managers, Production, Warehouse, and IT teams to ensure accurate forecasts, healthy inventory, strong in-stock performance, and timely execution of reporting and operational deliverables. Reporting to the Planning Manager, the Planner specifically owns style, color, and size-level analysis, supports seasonal and weekly planning processes, and plays a critical role in order management.
ResponsibilitiesLadder Planning & Forecasting- Own the development and maintenance of ladders at the dept, program, style, and color-level ensuring alignment to Walmart financial targets and internal business plans.
- Manage ladder updates throughout the season, incorporating actual sales, forecast changes, inventory flow adjustments, and buyer direction.
- Identify risks and opportunities within ladders related to volume, weeks of supply, and in-stock performance recommending actions to close gaps.
Reporting & Analysis- Prepare and distribute required weekly, monthly, and seasonal Walmart reporting, including sales recaps, supplier stats, add/delete submissions, scorecards, and inventory health reports.
- Analyze style-, color-, and size-level selling data to identify trends, replenishment needs, and merchandising opportunities.
- Support early sales and post-mod performance reporting, working closely with Planning Manager to translate results into clear insights and recommended actions.
Inventory & Replenishment Management- Monitor inventory levels and in-stock performance, particularly for basic and replenishment items, and recommend actions to maintain high in-stocks.
- Identify opportunities to improve forecast accuracy and replenishment performance working closely with Planning Manager to establish and execute action plans as needed.
- Support execution of production uploaders, add/delete submissions, cancel requests, and end-of-season clear-out activities.
Operational Execution- Work directly with Walmart planners to ensure orders are accurately dropped in Walmart systems and purchase orders are received and executed.
- Partner with cross functional teams weekly to support alignment of replenishment orders, inventory flow, and operational execution.
- Support execution of store mods, new store sets, and seasonal transitions via order submission, tracker maintenance monitoring Walmart receipts through completion.
- Track order accuracy, warehouse routing, on-time shipping proactively communicating risks and updates.
- Assist with OTIF reporting and other compliance-related deliverables as required.
- Act as lead for planning team projects as defined by Planning Manager ensuring accuracy, completion and any follow ups are executed upon.

Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Merchandising, or a related field/experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience in retail planning, inventory management, or demand planning, preferably supporting Walmart/Sams Club/other large omni-channel retailer
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets and translate findings into clear insights and actions
- High level proficiency in Excel and reporting tools; experience working large SKU counts, and retailer systems is preferred
- Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with external partners and cross-functional internal teams
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and recurring deliverables in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
This is an hybrid role, with 4 days in our Secaucus, NJ office. PAY RATE: $90,000/yr-$115,000/yr At Delta Galil, we strive to hire and nurture amazing talent. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to experience, specialized skills, and internal alignment.
