Job Title: Planner - New Product Development
Location:Somerset, NJ
Salary:$75,000 - $95,000
A highly reputable company is looking for a Planner of New Product Development to join their team! This role includes a large range of duties including but not limited to managing material requirements, build plans, and sub-assembly schedules for IBD300 NPD prototypes, pilot, and early production builds. You will drive execution against NPD milestones, ensuring material readiness aligns with engineering and program schedules, while acting on SAP MRP planning messages.
Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage material requirements and build schedules for new product development.
  • Ensure material readiness aligns with engineering and program schedules.
  • Adjust schedules based on supplier constraints, capacity limitations, and engineering changes.
  • Identify and resolve material availability risks that could impact build schedules.
  • Review and process Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and MRB dispositions.
  • Expedite materials as needed, coordinating with Procurement, Suppliers, Warehouse, and Quality teams.
  • Ensure build kits and system shipments are complete, accurate, and on schedule.
  • Partner cross-functionally to manage intercompany purchase orders and improve material planning processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • NPI experience REQUIRED
  • 5+ years of planning, scheduling, or supply chain experience (or 3+ years with a Master's).
  • Strong working knowledge of MRP, material planning, and supply chain concepts.
  • Experience with SAP preferred.
  • Experience supporting prototype, pilot, or low-volume/high-complexity builds.
  • Strong communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • APICS/ASCM certification is a plus.
  • Experience in New Product Development or NPI environments.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Work Environment
This role is based onsite from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Once fully trained, there is potential to transition to a hybrid role. We design, develop, manufacture, and service cutting-edge machines used to create essential devices that drive the digital age.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $77126.00 - $97694.00/yr.
