Your Impact Starts HereGraham is actively recruiting for a PLAA Specialist to support the Infrastructure Division. This role is responsible for coordinating and managing the permits, licenses, agreements, and approvals required for transit and rail construction projects, playing a key role in supporting project planning and successful delivery.
Your Role in Building What Matters - From Office to Site - Coordinate and secure permits, licenses, agreements, and regulatory approvals required for transit and rail infrastructure projects.
- Manage permit applications and approval processes, ensuring plans, documentation, and submissions are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain and track the project's permitting requirements, ensuring all approvals are in place to support construction timelines and project delivery.
- Collaborate with municipalities, regulatory agencies, utilities, and other stakeholders to obtain reviews, clearances, and approvals.
- Support regulatory compliance and stakeholder engagement activities by coordinating approvals, providing project updates, and helping resolve permitting challenge
The Right Tools for the Job - Education: University degree or diploma in Planning, Engineering, Environmental Studies, Construction Management, or a related field. Professional designations such as RPP or P.Eng. are considered an asset.
- Experience: 4-5 years of experience obtaining and coordinating permits, licenses, approvals, and agreements for infrastructure, transit, rail, utility, or other major construction projects.
- Skills: Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with municipalities, regulatory agencies, government authorities, and project teams. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required
Compensation- Salary Range $85,000 to $105,000 per annum
- Compensation aligned to education and experience, ensuring fair and competitive placement
