Job Requirements
Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Performace Tuning, DB Parameters tuning 7+ years of experience in Oracle database development and administration, with significant experience in MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
Strong proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL, and Oracle database internals, with the ability to architect complex data processing solutions.
Expertise in data modeling for large-scale applications and experience leading schema design.
Expertise in advanced performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies, including proactive performance management.
Extensive hands-on experience with a wide range of relational and NoSQL databases, including architectural decisions on when to use each technology.
Strong, hands-on experience with a variety of database monitoring tools and tuning methodologies, including implementing and customizing monitoring solutions.
Experience defining and implementing data quality frameworks and strategies.
Experience establishing code quality standards and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines. Experience with database versioning and deployment automation (e.g., Liquibase).
Proven experience designing and implementing robust backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions for critical database systems.
Lead the design and development of complex PL/SQL code, stored procedures, and overall data architecture.
Lead the administration and support strategy for Oracle databases, focusing on high availability, disaster recovery, and proactive monitoring.
Lead the evaluation and implementation of NoSQL database solutions, providing architectural guidance on their use cases.
Mentor junior and mid-level team members on database best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in cloud-based databases (e.g., Oracle Cloud, AWS RDS, Azure SQL).
• Exposure to ETL tools and data integration platforms.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) related to data management.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead troubleshooting efforts for complex, critical production issues.
