Commercial Pipefitting Foreman - Mechanical Construction

Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Pay: $37-$43 per hour (DOE)
Job Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Pipefitting Foreman to lead pipefitting crews on commercial and industrial construction projects throughout the Phoenix area. The ideal candidate is a strong field leader with experience installing and supervising mechanical piping systems while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead pipefitting crews on commercial mechanical construction projects.
  • Plan and coordinate daily work activities to meet project schedules and production goals.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and piping isometric drawings.
  • Install and oversee installation of chilled water, heating water, condenser water, process piping, and related mechanical systems.
  • Coordinate work with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and other trades.
  • Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment to maximize productivity.
  • Ensure all work complies with project specifications, applicable codes, and company quality standards.
  • Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA and company safety policies.
  • Train and mentor apprentices and journeyman pipefitters.
  • Complete daily reports, timekeeping, and project documentation.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of commercial pipefitting experience.
  • Previous experience as a Foreman or Lead Pipefitter preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial mechanical piping systems and installation methods.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Experience coordinating crews on active commercial construction projects.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
