In this role you will:

• Assess, develop and implement physiotherapy treatment interventions utilizing sound clinical reasoning and evidence-based practices
• Collaborate with interprofessional team to develop comprehensive care plans, transition planning and engage in patient education as required
• Supervise Physiotherapist Assistant (PTA) in the delivery of Physiotherapy care plan
• Actively participate in team meetings to support patient care activities such as daily huddles, team rounds and family meetings
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in alignment with college and hospital standards
• Perform other duties consistent with the job classification as required

Job Type: Temporary Full Time (up to 15 months)

Schedule:
Week 1: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm
Week 2: Tuesday to Saturday 8:30am to 4:30pm

Job Requirements:
Mandatory

• Currently registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO)
• University degree from a recognized Physiotherapy program
• Current Assistive Devices Program (ADP) Authorizer for Mobility Aids
  • If not yet authorized, must apply within 3 months of start date
  • If not yet eligible, must apply within 3 months of eligibility

Preferred

• Functional Independence Measure (FIM) certification

Skills and Knowledge

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Demonstrated proficiency in communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong clinical knowledge and assessment skills
• Demonstrated satisfactory job performance and attendance history

Salary: Minimum - $48.843/hour; Maximum - $61.539/hour
