In this role you will:- Assess, develop and implement physiotherapy treatment interventions utilizing sound clinical reasoning and evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with interprofessional team to develop comprehensive care plans, transition planning and engage in patient education as required
- Supervise Physiotherapist Assistant (PTA) in the delivery of Physiotherapy care plan
- Actively participate in team meetings to support patient care activities such as daily huddles, team rounds and family meetings.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in alignment with college and hospital standards
- Perform other duties consistent with the job classification as required
Job Type: Temporary Full Time (up to 15 months)
Schedule:Week 1: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm
Week 2: Tuesday to Saturday 8:30am to 4:30pm
Job Requirements:Mandatory
- Currently registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO)
- University degree from a recognized Physiotherapy program
- Current Assistive Devices Program (ADP) Authorizer for Mobility Aids. If not yet eligible, must apply within 6 months of eligibility
Preferred
- Functional Independence Measure (FIM) certification
Skills and Knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Demonstrated proficiency in communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong clinical knowledge and assessment skills
- Demonstrated satisfactory job performance and attendance history
Salary: Minimum - $48.843/hour; Maximum - $61.539/hour
