Responsibilities
Duties: Provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly, emphasizing preventative care, chronic disease management, and acute illness treatment. Conduct thorough patient assessments. Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, coordinating with other healthcare professionals as necessary. Provide preventive care, including routine check-ups, immunizations, and health education. Manage chronic diseases, ensuring patients understand their conditions and treatment options. Coordinate patient referrals to specialists and follow up on the results of such consultations. Educate patients and their families on healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention, and treatment options. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards, including patient privacy and confidentiality laws.
Qualifications
Requirements: Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.), or equivalent; completion of residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine; board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine; license to practice medicine or eligibility for licensure in Ohio.
