Opportunity InformationGould Medical Group is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to serve as Medical Director for our Partial Hospitalization/Intensive Outpatient Program for behavior health. The Medical Director provides clinical leadership, medical oversight, and direct psychiatric care to ensure safe, effective, and compliant treatment delivery.
Position Details:- Starting base salary: $340,000
- 8 FTE clinical psychiatry and 0.2 FTE administrative
- Sign-on bonus
- Two-year salary guarantee
- RVU based compensation model starting in year 2
- RVU bonus potential during guarantee

- Provide physician leadership and oversight of all PHP/IOP clinical services.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support coordinated care
- Ensure therapeutic approaches align with program goals and evidence-based practices
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and manage medications.
- Supervise and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers and multidisciplinary team members.
- Support staff with clinical questions, case discussions, and treatment planning
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards.
- Participate in case conferences, treatment team meetings, and quality-improvement initiatives.
- Oversee appropriate patient flow and adherence to safety and documentation standards.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and medical records.
- Collaborate with therapists and program managers to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care
- Provide medication management
- Promote a patient-centered, recovery-oriented model of care.
- Behavioral Health department consists of Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, and Advanced Practice Clinicians
