Qualifications

• Board certification in Psychiatry required, B/C within 5 years post-residency or fellowship.
• Experience in outpatient psychiatry settings preferred.
• Ability to manage a daily patient load of 14-16 cases.
• Familiarity with addiction services would be beneficial but not required.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with nursing staff and case managers.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in an outpatient setting.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and follow-up assessments.
• Manage patient caseload effectively with allotted time per patient.
• Collaborate closely with associated Addictionologist when necessary.
• Utilize Nurse Case Manager for background history and administrative assistance.
