Opportunity InformationSutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire a BE/BC Internal Medicine Physician to join our close-knit team in Woodland, CA.Our Internal Medicine (IM) practice serves patients from throughout Yolo County and includes a mix of academic patients from UC Davis, rural patients from small communities such as Esparto, Dixon and Guinda, and draws from the cities of West Sacramento and Sacramento because of our personal touch. Our IM practice currently consists of six physicians. We are seeking a new physician partner to help with our expanding patient load. Together, physicians and staff enjoy a collaborative, friendly environment, dedicated to compassionate patient care and supporting one another in a healthy work-life balance.
Established outpatient practice with strong community need- Opportunity to build meaningful, long-term relationships with patients while serving a growing and diverse population in Yolo County. Woodland has a population of approximately 61,000 and is the county seat of Yolo County.

QualificationsRequired: Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine
Preferred: Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with patients, colleagues, and interdisciplinary care teams from diverse backgrounds.
Preferred: Professional interest in and commitment to the practice of Internal Medicine.
Preferred: Interest in providing outpatient-focused primary care services.
Preferred: Experience performing women's health procedures, including cervical cancer screening (Pap smears).
Preferred: Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.
Preferred: Demonstrated interest in establishing a long-term medical practice and contributing to the health needs of the local community.
