Job Description:

  • Provides leadership and guidance to project team members.
  • Facilitates collaboration and communication among team members and stakeholders.
  • Evaluates project outcomes and implements lessons learned for future projects.
  • Coordinates cross-functional teams to integrate efforts and achieve project goals.
  • Develops and implements project plans, including milestones and deliverables.
  • Communicates project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Allocates resources effectively to meet project demands and priorities.
  • Monitors project progress and adjusts plans as necessary to stay on track.
  • Ensures compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Identifies and mitigates risks to project success.
  • Manages project scope, timelines, and resources to ensure successful completion.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Hybrid schedule: Monday-Thursday in office; Friday remote.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Highly organized and great attention to detail; Excellent oral and written communication skills [Required]
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently independently or with a team with minimal supervision. [Required]
  • Demonstrate understanding of the four phases of the project life-cycle (concept, design, execution and closeout). [Required]
  • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to lead and manage large, complex programs and projects. [Required]
  • Demonstrated ability to understand, plan and execute project deliverables and project scope. [Required]
  • Skilled at identifying and managing project risks and scope creep early and often to foresee/identify potential problems, and proactively identify and present solutions to management. [Required]
  • Manage resource allocation to ensure proper project prioritization. [Required]
  • Ability to train and educate on project management tools and systems as needed. [Required]
  • Effective computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, MS Project, Visio. [Required]
  • Knowledge in health plan or managed care operations [Preferred]

Education:
  • Bachelor's [Required]
  • Master's [Preferred]

Field of Study:
Healthcare Administration, Business or related field

Work Experience:
  • 3+ experience leading large/complex projects [Required]
  • 5+ healthcare experience [Required]
  • Experience with large physician groups [Preferred]
