Full Job Description
Position Overview
Deaconess Health System is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Psychiatrist to join our established outpatient behavioral health clinic in Henderson, Indiana. This role focuses on providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment for adults and/or adolescents in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychiatric assessments, diagnose mental health conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide medication management and ongoing therapeutic support for patients with a wide range of psychiatric conditions.
  • Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, nurses, and case managers to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to ethical, legal, and regulatory standards for psychiatric care.
