Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
• 2 years of experience in acute care preferred.
• Current and active Physician Assistant license in state of practice.
• Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required at hire.
• Strong knowledge of primary care principles and evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments including medical history and physical exams.
• Formulate accurate diagnoses and create individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and administer treatments as necessary.
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and adjust plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Provide health promotion and disease prevention education to patients.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure compliance with regulations.
