Full Job Description
The Physician Assistant (PA) complements and assists the work of the attending faculty, surgical fellows, and surgical residents to provide integrative inpatient and outpatient care in the surgery service. Our Plastic Surgery faculty offer state of the art care for patients with a wide range of problems arising from congenital deformity, cancer, trauma and burns. We offer a variety of surgical treatment including craniofacial and cleft lip surgery, breast reconstruction, microvascular reconstruction, hand surgery, and treatment of complex wounds. Our surgeons also perform a complete selection of cosmetic procedures of the face, breast and body. In all of our reconstructive and cosmetic surgery we endeavor to provide comprehensive care that is tailored to the individual patient's needs. Qualifications Required Qualifications Two (2) years of PA, laparoscopic surgical, and surgical assisting experience Preferred Qualifications N/A Salary Information The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
