Texas Health Physicians Group is excited to announce a Full TimePhysician Assistant opportunity to work with a skilled, fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon dedicated to providing comprehensive care designed to promote healing. Position Details
• Full Time schedule to include rotating call coverage.
• Hours flexible as driven by the OR schedule and need of patients
• Surgical Assist with experienced general orthopedic surgeon
• See patients in the clinic and perform inpatient consults/follow ups
• Plan treatment and document using EPIC EMR

Requirements Needed to Apply:
• Active Texas license
• Strong Communication Skills
• Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program
Ortho surgical experience preferred
First assist surgical experience required

The Physician Assistant ("PA") will be licensed as a physician assistant in the State of Texas and maintain such license in good standing at all times. Master's degree Physician Assistant required.

The PA will report to the supervising physician and/or the Medical Director and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure.

The PA's duties and responsibilities apply to the THPG patient population and assigned setting only.
