Location: Waco, TX (Hillcrest)
Status: Full-Time
Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week (~130 hours/month)
Clinic Hours:- Mon-Fri: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
- Sat-Sun: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Compensation: $60-$80/hour (based on experience) + bonus

Position SummaryWe are seeking a full-time
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Waco (Hillcrest). This role is ideal for clinicians who value autonomy, variety, and meaningful community impact while practicing in a fast-paced, well-supported urgent care environment.
You9ll be supported by experienced clinical teams, strong peer relationships, clear practice guidelines, and accessible medical leadership. The work is engaging and varied, with a broad patient population and generally low-acuity presentations.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages
- Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits
- Order and interpret labs and imaging
- Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care
- Communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions clearly
- Document care accurately in the EHR
- Code and bill services appropriately
- Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks
Required Qualifications- Active, unrestricted Texas license (NP or PA)
- Board certification (AANP/ANCC for NP, NCCPA for PA)
- Active DEA (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to treat all ages
- Active BLS certification
- EHR proficiency
- Willingness to work rotating weekends and holidays
- DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (covered by NextCare)
Preferred Qualifications- Prior urgent care, ER, or fast-track experience
- Strong procedural skills (suturing, splinting, wound care)
- Experience with initial X-ray interpretation
