Job Summary:
Geisinger Gastroenterology is seeking an Advanced Practitioner to join our team at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Specialty Clinic in Wilkes Barre Pennsylvania.

Job Duties:

Join an established team of physicians, APs, and nursing staff.

This position will perform in collaboration with the physician performing diagnostic and therapeutic tasks to assure that patient care is delivered in a caring and efficient manner throughout Geisinger in an effort to increase patient satisfaction and patient outcomes. Assists in gathering the data necessary in implementing the therapeutic plan of the physician. Functions as a patient advocate in the medical care system as confidant, advisor, and liaison between patients, families and physicians.

Reports to Chief Advanced Practitioner.

This position affords the Advanced Practitioner the opportunity to work in both the clinic and hospital setting by alternating between Inpatient Consults in the morning and Outpatient Clinic in the afternoon.
