Physician Assistant - Colorectal Surgery - Days - Columbia Campus - New grads welcome to apply!

Join our team as a full-time Surgery Physician Assistant and be a part of a comprehensive team covering surgical patients admitted to the hospital. As one of the world's leading medical centers, we are at the cutting edge of new therapies. Every day, we are meeting the needs of patients with extraordinarily diverse problems, performing complex procedures including hybrid, minimally invasive, and robotic procedures.

In this role, PAs serve as front line providers rounding with attending surgeons, writing notes, orders, and performing necessary bedside procedures. There are opportunities for first and second assisting in the OR as well.

This role requires 4-day shifts per week (6am-4pm), including some weekend coverage (No nights or holidays).

Preferred Criteria
  • At least 1 year of experience in caring for post-surgical patients, however, strong new graduates will be considered.

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Physician Assistant studies
  • NYS licensure
  • NCCPA certification


Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Salary Range:

$161,000-$210,000/Annual
