Qualifications

• Graduate from a Physician's Assistant Program with 2+ years of experience
• 2 years experience in Psychiatry or related field
• DEA License is required
• Basic Life Support (BLS/ACLS) certification
• Bilingual Spanish fluency is a plus, but not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care under physician supervision, focusing on acute and chronic mental health conditions
• Perform psychiatric evaluations and ongoing assessments for various psychiatric disorders
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapeutic interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for referrals, psychological testing, and consultations
• Document patient encounters and treatment updates accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards
• Order and interpret relevant diagnostic tests to support mental health evaluations
