Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center - Shreveport seeks applicants to join our team at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology, under the leadership of Wendy K. Bernstein, MD, MBA, FASA, FAMWA.

- Diverse Clinical Exposure: Care for patients across multiple sites, including our Academic Medical Center, St. Mary Medical Center, Feist-Weiller Cancer Center, and OLHS Regional Urology Ambulatory Surgery Center.
- Robust Academic Community: LSU Health Sciences Center is home to 800+ students across the Schools of Medicine, Graduate Studies, and Allied Health Professions, with nearly 600 residents and fellows trained annually.
- Level I Trauma Center: Be part of the only Level I Trauma Center in the region and one of just two in Louisiana.
- Board Certified starting pay $600k
- Minimal call, with 40-hr week of Monday-Friday, 7a-3p
- OT and Weekend additional comp
Qualifications- Board Certified / Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Advanced training/fellowship in Peds, OB, Critical Care, or Cardiac are encouraged to apply
- Eligible for active Louisiana Medical Licensure
