Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team in
Sierra Vista, Arizona. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping patients improve their mobility, manage pain, and enhance their quality of life through comprehensive therapeutic interventions.
- Perform thorough physical therapy evaluations to assess patients' physical status, range of motion, strength, and functional capabilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings and patient goals
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions and exercise instruction to patients
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes using electronic medical records
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care
- Supervise and guide Physical Therapy Assistants and support staff
- Maintain compliance with state regulations and professional standards
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, home exercise programs, and preventive care
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
Qualifications- Graduate degree from a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapy Program
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Valid CPR certification
- Proficiency in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and MS Office
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Demonstrated knowledge of physical therapy protocols and treatment techniques
- Understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pain management principles
- Experience with rehabilitation equipment and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team
- Strong documentation and organization skills
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development
