Lucas Therapies, a H2 Health company, is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our outpatient team in Salem, Virginia. At Lucas Therapies, you'll work with a diverse outpatient population and provide individualized, evidence-based care to patients recovering from injury, surgery, and a variety of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. You'll collaborate with an experienced clinical team dedicated to helping patients improve mobility, restore function, reduce pain, and return to the activities they enjoy most while delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Your Role
  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized plans of care.
  • Deliver evidence-based treatment interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, function, and overall quality of life.
  • Treat a variety of orthopedic, post-operative, musculoskeletal, balance, vestibular, and mobility-related conditions.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Educate patients on injury prevention, wellness, and home exercise programs.
  • Utilize Scribe AI-powered documentation technology to streamline documentation and maximize patient care time.
  • Utilize the Raintree EMR platform for documentation, scheduling, and patient management.
  • Work within a manageable caseload environment, typically targeting approximately 10-12 patient visits per day for full-time outpatient clinicians.


Requirements
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent legacy degree (MSPT/MPT/BPT) from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Current Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure.
  • CPR certification or willingness to obtain as required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
