Full Job Description
Liberty POST (formerly Island Therapies) is currently seeking amotivated and energetic Early Childhood Physical Therapist (PT) to work with children who are birth-5 years old through Early Intervention and Preschool Special Education programs. Immediate positions are available in the sensory gym at our office in Hauppauge. As a team member you will have an opportunity to work with knowledgeable, experienced and dedicated colleagues with full administrative support.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and track child's progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Record information on treatment and progress in a timely manner using Electronic Medical Record system.
  • Effectively organize and maintain confidentially of child's records and other documentations.
  • Conduct physical therapy sessions for children with various diagnoses (ex: ASD, dyspraxia, gross motor delay, etc.) in our sensory gym in Hauppauge.
  • Follow all state laws and regulations as it pertains to Early Intervention, CPSE/CSE special education.


Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:
  • Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of New York required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience working with children is preferred.
  • Knowledge of MS Word and comfortable with working with computers and databases
  • A valid driver's license and proof of car insurance.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills

Job Type: Fee for service with possibility of part/full-time salaried position

Pay Rates:

Office/Clinic Based (EI/CPSE): starting $30 for 30-minute session

Home/Community Based EI:

45 minutes: $57

60 minutes: $75

Home/Community Based CPSE starts at $35 for 30-minute session

Evaluations starting at $155
