Position SummarySaint Francis Health System is seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Physical Therapist to join our team at Vinita Hospital. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care through comprehensive evaluations, individualized treatment planning, and ongoing progression of therapy programs designed to help patients achieve their functional goals.
The ideal candidate is committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes, collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and providing education to patients and families throughout the rehabilitation process.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Initiate and administer appropriate physical therapy treatments.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Establish and achieve functional rehabilitation goals.
- Educate patients, family members, and caregivers on treatment plans and home exercise programs.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and patient records.
- Complete daily patient charges and treatment documentation.
- Participate in continuing education, departmental meetings, and in-service training.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, rehabilitation staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Assist with orientation and training of new therapy staff, students, and volunteers as needed.
QualificationsEducation- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
Licensure- Current Oklahoma Physical Therapist License OR
- Temporary Letter of Authorization to practice Physical Therapy in Oklahoma.
Experience- New graduates encouraged to apply.
- 0-6 months of related experience preferred.
Required Skills- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to educate patients and families effectively.
- Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and patient care standards.
- Ability to interpret clinical information and apply sound clinical judgment.
- Basic computer skills and electronic documentation experience.
- Adaptability and effective problem-solving abilities.
