$47-$52/hr. | Full-Time | Dallas, TX | New Mexico Physical Therapist License RequiredAbout the RoleAs a Physical Therapist, you'll provide individualized therapy services to students helping them build the physical skills needed to succeed in school and daily life. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, develop treatment plans aligned with IEPs or medical plans, and support student progress through consistent, high-quality care.
What You'll Do- Create and deliver individualized treatment programs for students ages 3 and up based on their IEPs or medical plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to establish goals and accommodations
- Oversee and support Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) as needed
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations including initial and ongoing assessments
- Complete annual and triennial reviews in a timely and compliant manner
- Maintain thorough documentation and provide detailed reports on student progress
- Provide consultation, training, and support to staff and caregivers
- Build and maintain positive relationships with students, families, and school staff
- Coordinate with medical personnel to support home program implementation
What We're Looking ForMust Have
- Current Physical Therapist license in the state where services are delivered or eligibility to obtain such licensure
- Ability to pass background check and be eligible to work in the United States
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Preferred
- Experience in school or clinical settings working with students with learning or social-emotional challenges
- Experience supporting or participating in IEP processes
