Physical Therapist

Location: Pleasant Valley, Missouri
Employment: Full-Time
Compensation: $90,000-$100,000 annually

About This Position

As a Physical Therapist, you will help patients work through physical challenges that affect how they move, feel, and function. This may include recovery after an injury, surgery, chronic pain, weakness, balance concerns, or limited mobility.

You will be responsible for evaluating each patient, creating a treatment plan, providing skilled therapy, and helping patients understand how to continue improving outside of their visits. This role is patient-facing, hands-on, and centered around practical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess strength, mobility, balance, range of motion, pain levels, and functional ability
  • Build treatment plans that support recovery and daily movement goals
  • Provide therapeutic exercise, mobility training, strengthening, and functional rehabilitation
  • Educate patients on home care, body mechanics, and safe activity progression
  • Monitor patient response and make treatment changes when needed
  • Maintain accurate records for evaluations, treatments, progress notes, and discharge plans

Preferred Work Schedule Options

We offer flexibility and would strongly prefer one of the following schedules:

Option 1: Four 10-Hour Days (Preferred)
  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
  • Tuesday off each week

Option 2: Monday - Friday Schedule
  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Clinic Information
  • Patient Volume: 7-15 patients per day
  • Clinic Volume: Approximately 160-190 patient visits per week
  • Clinical Team: 2 Physical Therapists, 2 Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs)
  • EMR System: WebPT
  • Patient Age Range: 11 to 90 years old
  • Primary Caseload: Orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions

Requirements
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
  • Current Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Strong evaluation, treatment planning, and patient education skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly with patients and healthcare team members
  • Outpatient, orthopedic, or rehabilitation experience preferred
