Shore Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in Rockland is hiring full-time and part-time Physical Therapists!Up to $50 an hour with weekly pay. Up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus available.* South Shore is a 96-bed skilled nursing facility.
You provide resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation to a general rehab caseload while also participating in the clinical team process. You also provide teaching and training to caregiver staff and supervise other therapists, assistants, aides, and students as required.
Education & Experience:- Bachelor of Science Degree, Master of Science, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy required.
- Must possess an active and unencumbered PT license in Massachusetts.
Duties & Responsibilities:- Screens patients/residents.
- Evaluates patients/residents and develops appropriate care plans.
- May perform additional assigned administrative duties like: assigning and overseeing resident care activities, medical record oversight, assuring execution of physician orders, ordering supplies, etc.
- Under a physician's order, provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care. Treatment venue includes individual, supervised and group.
- Contributes to the team meeting and decision-making process as defined by the program.
- Consults with and trains patients, residents and caregivers.
- Monitors efficiencies on an ongoing basis in collaboration with supervisor.
- Documents activities according to the company's clinical documentation system on a timely basis.
- Demonstrates consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations.
- Communicates effectively with patients, residents, team members, customer and supervisor.
- Responsible for service and operational excellence of all assigned activities to ensure the delivery of quality services and/or outcomes required to meet or exceed the expectations of those utilizing or impacted by the department.
- Complies with facility Privacy Practices policies and procedures and protects residents' individual health information.
- Exhibits courtesy, compassion and respect to patients, residents, families, caregivers, visitors, physicians, administrators and co-workers.
