Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesThe Physical Therapist is expected to perform their duties in alignment with the vision and values of the organization. Responsible for a variety of tasks that lead to a high level of customer satisfaction in the most cost effective manner. Under the general guidance of the Rehab Director, administers patient evaluations, plans and implements patient treatment proficiently for all assigned patient diagnoses.
Job Requirements
Required
- Bachelors & Masters or Doctorate Degree from a Physical Therapy institution accredited by the APTA.
- Current California Physical Therapy license or eligible for same,
- CurrentBLS certification.
- Exceptional time management skills in performing all assigned tasks.
- Sound judgment in clinical decision making.
- Strong leadership, initiative and ability to assume responsibility
- Proficiency in all PT skills; demonstrates one or more areas of well-developed clinical expertise that is used regularly in assigned area; demonstrates current continuing education in specialty area.
Preferred
- Minimum one year experience as a Physical Therapist in a hospital setting
CCS paneled physical therapist will be responsible for treating any pediatric patient with CCS insurance, or supervising any therapist treating such a patient.
