Job Description:Ampersand Therapy is hiring a
Physical Therapist (PT) for a full-time, school-based position in the
Tacoma, Washington area. This onsite role will primarily support an Early Learning Center, along with students at two additional school locations.

- Schedule: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week
- Setting: Onsite only
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: June 23, 2027
- Caseload: Early Learning Center and two additional school locations
Responsibilities- Provide school-based physical therapy services to students across multiple educational settings
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Support students' mobility, motor development, positioning, accessibility, and participation in school activities
- Develop and monitor goals aligned with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Collaborate with teachers, families, special education staff, and related service providers
- Recommend adaptive equipment, mobility supports, and environmental modifications as appropriate
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and service records
- Travel between assigned school locations as needed
Qualifications- Active Washington State Physical Therapist license
- Must be fingerprinted and cleared through the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI)
- Ability to work onsite
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- School-based or pediatric physical therapy experience is preferred
