How you'll make an impact in this roleThis position resides under The Resource Group, an end-to-end supply chain partner to healthcare organizations across the United States, wholly-owned by Ascension. At The Resource Group, we build strong relationships with provider teams, working alongside them to improve supply chain operations and lower non-payroll expenses, all in support of delivering quality patient care. Responsibilities for this role can be found below:
• Lead the project management of assigned initiatives related to pharmaceutical distribution and optimization, overseeing resource coordination, planning, and tracking continuous improvement results across solution and community operations.
• Interpret complex financial trends and business forecasts as they relate to performance metrics, developing actionable recommendations for leadership concerning pharmaceutical supply expense and improvement initiatives.
• Communicate with stakeholders regarding impacts related to new contracts and operational changes, while serving as the primary liaison for team projects across communities to drive goal alignment and initiative success.
• Assist in the development, analysis, and evaluation of optimal item selection and stocking processes with pharmaceutical distributors, supporting the creation of necessary playbooks and operational guidance.
• Partner with executives to manage communications and deliverables, and engage with leadership to design, administer, and track the progress of continuous improvement initiatives related to compliance and operational efficiency.
• Develop support tools using advanced technical skills (Excel and/or SQL) for implementation support and performance tracking, and own, organize, and maintain community-wide resources across various platforms for accessibility and effectiveness.
What minimum requirements you'll needLicensure / Certification / Registration:
- Reg Health Info Tech credentialed from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) preferred.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

• 2 years of professional experience and/or an internship in project management, initiative implementation, and/or healthcare setting experience
