Job Summary

Seeking a Director of Pharmacy to lead pharmacy operations for a community health organization. This individual will serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) and oversee the day-to-day operations, financial performance, compliance, and strategic direction of two outpatient pharmacy locations. The Site Director will work closely with health center leadership and pharmacy operations to ensure high-quality, patient-centered pharmacy services while driving operational excellence and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) for the pharmacy locations.
  • Manage day-to-day pharmacy, clinical, and business operations.
  • Oversee pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members to ensure operational success.
  • Manage pharmacy purchasing and inventory to balance patient needs and cost controls.
  • Oversee 340B program operations, purchasing, and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable pharmacy regulations and standards.
  • Develop and maintain pharmacy policies and procedures.
  • Partner with finance teams to review and manage pharmacy financial performance.
  • Prepare and present operational and performance reports to leadership.
  • Collaborate with health center leadership to improve patient access and pharmacy services.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and operational excellence efforts.
  • Maintain a strong patient-centered approach to care delivery.

Qualifications
  • Current, active Washington Pharmacist License.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (RPh) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited program.
  • Minimum 5 years of retail or outpatient pharmacy leadership experience.

Experience
  • Previous supervisory or management experience.
  • Experience working with Medicaid and Medicare populations.
  • Experience working within Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs).
  • Knowledge of 340B programs and compliance.
  • Experience working with PBMs and third-party payers.
  • Experience working with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Experience serving underserved or vulnerable patient populations.

Skills
  • Strong communication, leadership, and team development skills.
  • Strong business, financial, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of Washington Board of Pharmacy, DEA, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
