Pharmacy Quality Assurance Coordinator (Pharmacist 4).
WORK SCHEDULE- Full-Time / 40 hours per week
- Day Shifts
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS- Direct, develop, implement and evaluate quality assurance programs across UW Medicine Pharmacies.
- Responsibilities include working with area managers to design and implement quality assurance policies and standards in accordance with the pharmacy department's standard operating procedures.
- The position requires working independently in a highly efficient and organized manner.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead UW Medicine Department of Pharmacy's quality assurance programs.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state laws, regulations, accreditation standards, and system expectations governing pharmaceutical services.
- Develop, implement and maintain, in collaboration with pharmacy managers, training programs, and competency assessments for pharmacy personnel.
- Compose and implement reporting of key performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities
- Proactively lead hospital-wide preparation for regulatory body surveys and investigations, ensuring continuous preparedness.
- Lead projects related to process improvement and regulatory requirements
- Maintain thorough knowledge of technical advances and current practice standards in quality assurance.
- Create and maintain policies and standard operating procedures for the UW Medicine pharmacy department.
- Assume other responsibilities in the management of the pharmacy department quality assurance program as delegated.
DESIRED:- Prior experience leading a health-system quality assurance program.
- Demonstrated experience communicating and collaborating effectively in a health-system environment.
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONSThree years experience in pharmacy practice. Months spent in the completion of an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists accredited residency training program may substitute month-for-month for the experience.
LEGAL REQUIREMENTState of Washington Pharmacist License

Compensation, Benefits and Position DetailsPay Range Minimum:$162,672.00 annual
Pay Range Maximum:$232,728.00 annual
