Full Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Pharmacy Manager to join our team full-time at our Brampton, Ontario location.

At LMC Pharmacy, pharmacists practice in a unique consultation-based environment focused on diabetes care, education, and chronic disease management. Located within LMC Healthcare clinics, our pharmacists work collaboratively with endocrinologists, diabetes educators, and allied healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient-centered care.

What You'll Do:
  • Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Pharmacy Manager will oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy, while practicing to the full scope by providing diabetes education, medication reviews, and dispensing services for patients
  • The Pharmacy Manager will also support the operations of Diabetes Depot, LMC's diabetes-focused e-commerce business, which operates out of the Brampton pharmacy and supports patients across Canada
  • The Pharmacy Manager will ensure compliance with company policies as well as provincial and federal pharmacy regulations, while meeting all requirements as a Designated Manager with OCP
  • Manage and train staff, including pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, pharmacy students, and Diabetes Depot staff
  • Work with the Operations Manager and Director of Pharmacy to meet key financial and performance metrics
  • Collaborate with endocrinologists and other clinic colleagues to provide the best care to patients
  • Stay current with diabetes guidelines and best practices to deliver evidence-based care

What We're Looking For:
  • OCP Part A licensed pharmacist in good standing with current OCP Injection Certification
  • 2-5 years of Ontario community pharmacy experience required
  • Diabetes education experience and Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) certification preferred
  • Previous management experience strongly preferred
  • Results-oriented with financial and business acumen
  • Ability to lead a team and inspire others to achieve operational goals and objectives
  • Interested in driving continuous improvement in processes and increasing efficiencies
  • Kroll proficiency and EMR experience an asset
  • Interest in helping people with diabetes improve their health and wellbeing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
