Job Brief:
We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and patient-focused
Pharmacy Manager to lead daily operations at our community pharmacy locations in Mississauga and Toronto. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed pharmacist who thrives in a leadership role and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while driving operational excellence.
As a Pharmacy Manager, you will oversee all pharmacy activities, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, support and mentor staff, and contribute to the growth and success of the pharmacy.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily pharmacy operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant workflow
- Provide clinical expertise and exceptional patient counseling
- Oversee inventory management, ordering, and cost control
- Ensure compliance with Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP) standards and all regulatory requirements
- Train, mentor, and support pharmacy staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Manage scheduling, performance evaluations, and staffing needs
- Build strong relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and the community
- Implement company policies, quality assurance programs, and operational improvements
- Support vaccination services and other clinical programs
- Monitor KPIs and contribute to business growth initiatives
Skills Required:
- Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP)
- Minimum 2-3 years of pharmacy experience; management or leadership experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, legislation, and best practices
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
- Experience with pharmacy software systems (e.g., Kroll) is an asset
- Certification to administer injections
