Exciting Opportunity at MSK: We are seeking a Pharmacy Evening Manager at the Main Campus Hospital to oversee evening/night inpatient operations.

As the world's oldest and largest private cancer center, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) is a 500+ bed comprehensive academic medical center dedicated exclusively to cancer care. Our Pharmacy team supports a broad range of inpatient services, including medical and surgical oncology, critical care, perioperative services, stem cell transplant, pediatrics, and emergency and urgent care. This is an exciting opportunity to provide operational leadership in a highly specialized, fast-paced environment while partnering with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care.

Role Overview:
  • Collaborate with other managers to provide seamless operations for evening and night shifts
  • Coordinate coverage, meeting attendance, and departmental representation responsibilities to ensure continuous leadership presence while maintaining operational flexibility.
  • Review workflow and make recommendations on procedures to improve efficiency and respond to changes in work areas
  • Develop staffing schedules to assure adequate coverage at all times
  • Monitor staff activities to ensure accurate, thorough completion of work required of each shift
  • Review and enforce P&P and regulatory procedures
  • Facilitate Human Resource activities including hiring, promotions, transfers, time-off management, other staff related inquiries.
  • Liaison between Pharmacy and Administrative/Nursing/Medical Leadership
  • Oversee training, orientation and competency assessment for new and current staff
  • Monitor RISQ events and perform event reviews as required
  • Perform performance evaluations for direct reports
  • Assist with Inventory and budget management as needed
  • Staffing support as needed
  • Other assigned projects and committees


Key Qualifications:
  • PharmD (or equivalent)
  • NY Pharmacist License Required.
  • Experience in Inpatient, Retail and Peri-op Operations and Project Management (preferred)

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday: 3pm-11pm (may vary depending on coverage)
  • Reporting to Director: Inpatient, Perioperative & Specialty Pharmacy Services

Pay Range: $152,400.00 - $251,600.00
