Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy team in Wesley Chapel, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional patient care.

Essential Responsibilities
Prepare medications by reviewing and interpreting physician orders and detecting therapeutic incompatibilities
Dispense medications by compounding, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals
Control medications by monitoring drug therapies; advising interventions
Verify preparation, labeling of pharmaceuticals, and order entries
Answer questions and requests of health care professionals and counsel patients on appropriate use of medications
Develop staff's pharmacological knowledge by participating in clinical programs and training pharmacy staff
Comply with state and federal drug laws as regulated by the state board of pharmacy
Maintain records for controlled substances and remove outdated and damaged drugs from the pharmacy inventory
Maintain current registration, study existing and new legislation, anticipate legislation, and advise management on needed actions
Maintain safety by adhering to infection-control procedures, policies and regulations
Ensure compliance with all applicable TJC standards and elements of performance (EPs)
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors of Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college or university
Current and unrestricted Florida Pharmacy License
Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List

Hours Anticipated (8a-5p Monday through Friday)
