How you'll make an impact in this role- Optimize patient outcomes by meticulously reviewing and assessing medication orders to identify, prevent, and resolve potential drug-related complications.
- Lead the clinical frontline by providing expert drug information and real-time consultations to medical staff, ensuring safe and effective care delivery during critical overnight hours.
- Guarantee medication integrity through the precise compounding and dispensing of pharmaceuticals, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy for every patient journey.
- Mentor and oversee pharmacy technicians and students, fostering a collaborative environment that ensures seamless pharmacy operations and professional growth.
- Empower patients through clear, compassionate counseling on their medication therapy, ensuring they feel confident and informed about their recovery.
What minimum requirements you'll needLicensure / Certification / Registration:
- Licensed Pharmacist credentialed from the Kansas Board of Pharmacy obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.
What additional preferences we're seeking- Hospital experience preferred.
